The Association Bernadette Strebel World Peace is a non-profit, non-governmental organization whose main objective to aid in the reforestation of Edo State, Nigeria will be achieved by planting one million trees. In addition to the positive contribution to climate protection, this project aims to regain independence and economic autonomy for the local people by creating jobs and providing schooling for their children. In the long term, the aim is to create a self-sustaining company that is no longer dependent on donations.
In addition, ABSWP has launched a malaria treatment program for the children and relatives of employed workers to combat the disease, which still is one of the leading causes of the high child mortality rate in Nigeria.
We support the ABSWP not only through monetary donations, but also through our own involvement in the planning and the management in Nigeria.
